I paint places to which I am connected: my hometown, Kathmandu, or my second home, New England, or other locations I have visited. Geometric puzzles of architectural elements inspire me. From stairs to poles, boats to houses, every line and shape in the architectural landscape can be intertwined to create either the most dynamic movements or the quietest stillness. I explore the balance between real and imaginary spaces in my paintings.
